The Mission to put our house back together after the building work continues especially the unpacking of my dyeing stuff.
Over the next week or so I thought I would share some of the things that I am ‘discovering’ again, some of which I forgot I had!
I put a great deal of time, effort and diligence into any work that I create but it always amazes me that I love the things that ‘create themselves’ the most and drop cloths are a great example of this.
Mine is well used but many more layers are yet to be added I think.
And some close ups…..
Maybe it is because you don’t over think what it is going to be or look like. Stuff just gets slapped on there, especially wipe up cloths.
I do have plans for these wipe cloths. Because they are so busy in colour and pattern, I’m thinking simple hand stitched straight lines sashiko style and free motion quilting (of course) on some others.
For now though, these ideas will have to be added to My Ever Growing To Do List!
Why not leave a comment and tell me what you think, it would be great to hear from you.
Thank you for stopping by, it is much appreciated…
