Well the Knitting and Stitiching Show in Harrogate has come and gone and I have a confession to make….
It was absolutely KNACKERING!!!
I have been attending the show for years as a visitor and have thought about how much work must go into being an exhibitor but DIDN’T REALLY appreciate just how much!
I want to say thank you to everyone who visited me on my stand either buying from me or taking the time to look at my work – it is appreciated.
If you didn’t visit the show, here are a few photos…
The fabulous Royal Hall..
Remember this quilt? See it being created here in previous posts.
I had LOTS of students visiting my stand, eager to ask questions and take photos. I really enjoyed talking to them and hearing more about the course they were doing and the projects they were making. I couldn’t resist passing on some ideas they might want to try!!
A particular thank you goes to the other exhibitors I met for the first time like Margaret and Catherine who makes the most fabulous ceramic yarn bowls, ceramic buttons and wooden craft accessories. Click on the either of the photos to see more of their work.
The biggest thank you though, undoubtedly goes to Our Linda for all her support and hard work, aren’t sisters great!! (she will kill me for sharing this!!)
And finally, a photo of one of my favourite pieces from my Limited Editions Collection
Thank you for stopping by, it is much appreciated…
