CQ Elements Challenge at Event City

Thought I’d share the photos I took of some of the inspiring work on display at Event City on Friday this week.  Hopefully it will brighten up a very dreary Sunday.

Set Up Day at Event City

Image

I have not long returned home from a long day setting up my stand for the start of the Stitching, Sewing and Hobbycrafts Show which starts tomorrow at Event City and have just finished doing some extra jobs!

You would think I have a stand the size of a house the amount of time it has taken to display the fabrics.

It started out looking like this….

How it looked when we left…

A huge thank you to Our Linda (Little Sister), I couldn’t do it without her.

Hope you enjoy the show if you are attending.

Preparing for Event City

Image

I don’t know about you but I am sure time is speeding up or is it that I am now taking longer to do stuff!

Although I plan everything to the enth degree, my preparation still goes down to the wire.

I have been attending the Stitching, Sewing & Hobbycrafts Show for quite a few years now as a visitor but this is my first time as an exhibitor and it is fair to say I am a tad nervous!

I have worked very hard to create a range of gorgeous unique hand dyed fabrics in various colours, patterns and sizes using a variety of techniques which I am hoping to tempt the visitors with.

The show is on from Thursday 11th  to Saturday 13th September at EventCity which is near the Trafford Centre.
