What You Can Do With Hand Dyed – Hand Made Books

Image

Remember the question I told you I hear a lot which was, ‘But What Can I do with it?

Well here is my first idea to try and answer it!

Hand Made Books

All the fabric used to make these books comes from the Colour Collection.

Recycled paper and envelopes have been used to create the pages and they tend to be coordinated in some way with the cover colour and are not regular in shape.

The books are approximately A6 size and the colours chosen to share with you are blue, red, green and purple.

As I described previously, there are 2 designs available in the Colour Collection.  The covers illustrate both Full Colour Texture and the lighter Colour Texture and introduces the ‘Mixed Greens’ colour palette..

The books will be on display on my stand for you to have a closer look at on 28th March in Oldham.

And yes you will be able to touch them!!  As you are probably sick of hearing me saying if you have visited my stand………………… ‘if you can’t touch, there’s no point’.

Which one do you like the most and why?  Would be nice to hear from you.

Thank you for stopping by, it is much appreciated…

New Hand Made Business Cards

Image

I thought I would share with you the new business cards I have made.

I wanted to include a little piece of fabric on them in some way so I redesigned the ones I had made previously and amended the layout to give me a space so I could do just that.

Then the dilemma of which colours to choose!

I choose scraps from the Colour Collection in green, purple and red.

If you or know someone you know is going to the South Manchester Area Day tomorrow, then come and say hello and take a card, you can even choose the colour!

Thank you for stopping by, it is much appreciated…
